DIRECTED CALL PICK UP GROUPS

The Directed Call Pickup feature also provides restrictions on which ex-tensions are allowed to pickup another line by using Directed Pickup Groups.

Directed Call Pickup Groups are new Admin-only components that contain a list of line and Hunt Group OIDs. All line’s that are listed in a Directed Call Pickup Group can pickup ringing calls at any of the other lines or Hunt Groups listed in the same Directed Call Pickup Group. A line can be a member of several Directed Call Pickup Groups. The set of line’s that can pickup a ringing call at a given line is the union of all line’s in all Directed Call Pickup Groups of which the line is a member. If a line is not a member of any Directed Call Pickup Group, then any line in the Partition can pickup a ringing call at that line. A line can be a member of a single Directed Call Pickup Group with no other members to restrict anyone from picking up their calls.
