Call Management provides access to a call log that lists all incoming, outgoing
and missed calls. There is also a Call Treatment area that provides call forwarding
and call screening functions. Calls can be forwarded and screened based on
multiple time-of-day settings. The actions include:
- Always Send to Voice Mail - The caller is always forwarded to your voice
mailbox. The call is not allowed to ring through to your telephone.
- Virtual Ring - The caller always hears a ring. To the caller it appears
as if their call is not being answered. Actually the call does not ring at
your phone, nor does it go to voice mail, it is simply connected to a virtual
phone.
- Urgent Call - The caller rings through to your telephone regardless
of whether the Do Not Disturb feature is invoked. If you do not answer the
phone, it rings to voice mail, and is tagged as an urgent message. If you
want to be paged when you receive an urgent message, make sure that your
administrator provides you with both “Urgent” and “Paging” settings
in your phone.
- Call Forward to Number - The caller is forwarded to a specific phone number.
The originally called phone is bypassed and does not ring. Each caller may
be forwarded to a different destination.
- Priority Call - The caller is allowed to ring at the user’s telephone,
even if the user has Do Not Disturb activated, and will ring using the priority
distinctive ring.
- Call Block - The caller is prohibited from reaching the user and the PressOne
System plays a message to the caller that the user is not taking calls.
Selective Call Forward - All callers assigned Selective Call Forward are
forwarded to the same destination number.
- Find Me / Follow Me - The user can have PressOne try multiple alternate
telephone number destinations including determining the order in which these
alternate numbers are tried. Key functions for this feature include:
- User’s phone always rings before Find-me / Follow-me is invoked
- User given option to answer, ignore or forward to voice mail
- Only used in No Answer situations; otherwise, Busy or Do Not Disturb
coverage take precedence
- Caller has option to leave voice mail instead of waiting
- Up to 9 user-defined lists of up to 5 phone numbers
- User defines whether calls to listed phones are sequential or parallel
- Call forward to user’s default No Answer coverage when all alternate
numbers are exhausted
- Find Me / Follow Me calls are subject to Class of Service restriction
- CDR records are generated for each external Find Me / Follow Me attempt
